It became so loud that door that we were actually, controlling the door's closure as to avoid the "bang". After our meal we lingered for a little bit enjoying the view and our conversation while the door behind us leading to the outside dinning area kept banging as waiters, and other staff, went in and out continuously. Our waiter never returned to see if we needed anything else, not even water was EVER offered or served. Literally, dropped the plates!!!! One of my guest actually said "what's wrong with him.?" I will say that what we ordered was very tasty and very hot so no complains with the food from anyone in my party. He asked who had ordered what and dropped the plates in front of us. When our food arrived, it was delivered by a young man who appeared to be pissed off. Our waiter never suggested anything as his main goal was to take our order and that he did as rushed us to make our mind by coming by every couple of minutes asking us if we were ready to order. As for the waiter, he hardly spoke English. The loudness of the party next to us made it almost impossible to even hear each other much less the waiter. The corner was so dark nobody in my party of 5 could even see the menu items. ![]() He escorted us to a back room where a loud party was being held and sat us at the corner. Actually, I would describe him nasty which, of course, was a hint of things to come. ![]() We were greeted by a grumpy old man who was neither nice or happy to be there. Indeed last night's view was wonderful but it's too bad that service was horrendous. Some friends from Germany were visiting so I decided to take them there for their first dinner in my hometown as I was sure the view was going to be awesome. As a Miami native, I have heard and driven by the Rusty Pelican a million times.
